Welcome letter

Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 1st Congress of the Foot and Ankle Section of the Croatian Orthopaedic Society (CROSFAS), with international participation to be held in Zagreb, at Akromion Special Hospital, from 26 to 27 February 2027. The Congress will bring together leading Croatian and international experts in foot and ankle surgery, contributing to the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with foot & ankle injuries and disorders. Its aim is the exchange of knowledge, experience, and the latest advances in patients care. The programme will present current concepts in minimally invasive techniques, the management of forefoot injuries and disorders, sports injuries, foot and ankle deformities, and total ankle arthroplasty. Alongside these topics, we warmly encourage active participation through presentations in the dedicated free-papers session. During the Congress, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on orthopaedic and trauma workshop and to follow live surgeries. The Congress is intended primarily for orthopaedic and trauma surgeons, but also for physiatrists and all other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with foot & ankle injuries and disorders.

We look forward to your participation and to meeting you in Zagreb, and we are confident that this first CROSFAS congress will lay the foundation for new friendships, knowledge exchange, and improved treatment options for participants and patients with foot and ankle injuries alike.
